So, We Bought Us A House...

And we're moving in a little over 2 weeks.

TWO WEEKS!

If I stick my fingers in my ears, squeeze my eyes shut and say, "lalalalalalala!!" I'm ok. If I don't? Then we are quickly boarding the train to freak-out land.

We have moved one too many times in the past few years. This house will be Bubbalu's FOURTH home. Yep, he's 18 months old.

After this move, I want to settle for a bit. Put down some roots. Finish unpacking from the last move. I don't like living in a constant state of turmoil and never knowing where "home" really is. I guess the good thing is that the people inside of whatever home we have been in these last 18 months have not changed. It's always been Papa, Mama and Bubbalu.

And that is what home really is.

  1. So, I get to choose my room first. Jude told you that I'm moving in with you guys, right? I asked him to tell you last week...okay, better idea: I'll move in there with the girls, and y'all can stay in our tiny Seattle home with Jae. Sounds like a plan, right?

  2. Yea! So happy for you. Roots are good. One question and the most important thing to all this...Is your closet bigger? B/c in the end, that's all that matters!

  3. Uh, yep. The closet is WAY bigger. Especially since my husband may or may not be allowed to hang his 2 jeans and 4 shirts in there.

I wish you the best and the new home is lovely.

  6. Admiring the house again =) (I forgot that Jude is only 17 months, so he obviously forgot to tell you guys that I wanted to move in ;) hee hee Maybe I'll get Livi to talk to him because Ella would just run inside, knocking Jude over...)

  7. What a beautiful house! Hopefully you guys can put down some roots in this one, but like you said, it isn't the house that makes the home. =) Congrats!
