Guaranteed Halloween Candy Snacking...

Well, this is ONE way of guaranteeing a significant amount of Halloween candy left over for your snacking needs:

You can't quite make it out? OK, here's the close-up:

My neighbor said it was hilarious to watch the oblivious trick-or-treaters saunter up the walkway anticipating candy then run away screaming, "Swine flu! Swine flu!".

I'm happy to provide entertainment for my neighbor and a smidgen of exercise for those candy-laden children.

And now I MUST be going. I have a huge orange pumpkin bowl of candy that I must eat. It DOES have an expiration date, didntcha know?

  3. You could also move out of town, buy a ton of candy pretending you might get some trick or treaters, act very surprised when none show up again, and then enjoy all your candy that no one else wanted! :)

  4. So that made me laugh almost as hard as imagining Lil Chick inhaling Cherry Almond lotion! :) Happy Fall!!! :)

  5. Sorry you had to suffer through the piggy flu. So I'm curious though; was it really that bad? Worse than the regular flu? I'm contemplating getting the shot, but I also wonder if there's not a lot of hype and silly fear mongering out there.

  6. I'm surprised nobody ignored the sign and rang your doorbell anyway. I would have thought it was a ploy to avoid the candy seekers =)

  7. LMBO. I love it. I put a bowl of candy out with a note that said "Sorry, we're sick, take a few pieces and have fun!" It made it about 45 minutes, lol. Most kids were really good... then I heard some teenagers come up and empty it, lol. Oh well... I saved a few pieces for me and figured it's better to not have ALL of it. I have a 'bit' of a sweet tooth. Okay, actually, I have a problem, lol.

  11. We did the same thing! We were in quarentine for a few days right around Halloween and put up the sign. It worked pretty good
