The Sewing Craze Continues...

My sewing machine has been really busy this fall. My parents were kind to lend me the wooden cradle that I slept in as a baby. However, the dimensions are smaller than the cradle sets sold nowadays, so I created...

from this:

Here's a hint. Having a baby? Redecorating a room? Buy a few extra curtains or flat sheets if your set comes with them. Then, you have yards of matching fabric to use to make pillows, cradle sheets and bumpers, quilts, throw pillows, boppy covers, matching basket liners, etc.

I JUST started on my baby girl quilt and will post about it's progress soon. The basket liners are next on the list and will hopefully come together in the next few weeks.

As you all know, my fall crafting has had a single minded focus.

What are all of YOUR fall crafts?

  1. I love your buy extra sheets or curtains...however, that would do me no good as my glue gun won't help me in that area!! :) Great job - can't wait to see all of your craftiness in person!

  2. SOOOO cute!! Get all of your craftiness in now before the babe-let comes!

  3. Oh, it's so cute! Can you make me some stuff?!

My only craft is scrapbooking. Maybe we can arrange a swap?!

  4. Looks great!!! I'm trying to figure out what to do with our very sad-looking bumper pad...

  5. I needed you when we were pregnant at the same time. If I only knew you were a sewer. Now you're miles away. WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME? Just kidding. Love you.

  6. It looks fabulous.
My fall projects consist of furnishing and making curtains for my newly painted dining room. I'm also trying to get my etsy store up and running!

  7. Very cute...I'm uber-impressed and jealous of your skills!

  8. I am so jelous of your talent!!! Great job!

C'mon, let's chat a bit...
